    Currently I am running

    Avira for Anti virus
    Comodo for Firewall
    Malwarebytes for Malware

Do I need to be running something separate for Spyware or anti rootkit?

    Thank you

MB is the best anti Malware I've seen I think, next would be SUPER AntiSpyware. I wouldn't worry about running anything else, and if you're behind a router, I'd cut out that [useless] firewall.

No problem. Never forget that the best protection is abstenince!

But really, if you practice safe browsing habits (trusting google's "this page may harm your computer", not clicking banner ads and popups, using firefox, and the biggest of all, never running an executable that you don't know everything about) you will never get a virus. My anti-virus? My brain, common sense, and FireFox. I run a Kaspersky and BitDefender webscan every few months to check myself out, and I haven't had a virus in years.

There's nothing wrong with the Comodo FW. It's rated #1!

There might not be anything wrong with it, but ALL software firewalls are generally useless unless you're not behind a router.
