I heard that the next version of SAS will support Win 7 64 bit out of the box....... when is it going to be released?

I've been running without any spyware/malware scanner for a long time now

Why do you need it if you are running NOD32 FTW?

NOD32 scans active threats or threats in your files.....

but what about malware or ads automatically downloaded through websites?

they are not real system threats but they leave unwanted cookies.....like tracking cookies

https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/11073 and others solve the cookie paranoya :) (i know you don't like firefox.. then gain, since vista, i have no virescanner at all. just firefox, and uac, and my savety still increased over xp days..)

edit: or this one https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/2497 is the one i actually have in use. you can say there that only the page your on can store cookies. which should be the default, but won't be, as advertising is such a big money cow in this world.
