    Recycler virus = Pain in

    Hey guys I have found this recycler folder hidden on both my hard drives in my laptop and on most of my external drives aswell......I have searched everywhere on the net to try to find a good response as to how to remove this virus, however they all lead to signing up to something or suspicious third party apps......anyone found a good way to deal with this thing?

    I have a full payed for version of mcafee.....what the bloody hell are these company's doing if they cant workout a program to deal with this type of thing?

    Its been around for years!!!! (recycler virus)

    Well Mcafee is unfortunately one of the worst Anti-Viruses.

    As for removing it, I recommend downloading Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware: Malwarebytes

    Once you've got it, update it then run a quick scan removing anything it finds. That should remove most of the infection.

    did you try different companies have online antivirus scanners..this old "buddy" should be detected no problem! i always recomend a full format if you can move your data(back it up).
