This is what I'm using on my computer right now! Super light compared to NOD32 which I was using before

To offset M$ usage I'll try Panda free for now.

Few months ago I was looked to change my security solution due to BSOD bug in the previous one which was very annoying, and after careful reading and comparing different products, I choose Avira Antivirus Pro as my main security solution.

At my other friends, who don't wanna pay for the licensed AV solution I usually recommend Bitdefender Free Antivirus.

Is there a free AV that won't show pop ups (Avira, Bitdefender...) or require you to renew a free license once a year (Avast...).

Yeah, maybe I'm asking for too much, I just want something better than MSE to install on clueless friends computers that doesn't need any attention. Yes, this is the very reason why MSE is still popular.

Bitdefender Free is the only FREE AV that is actually good in detections, no popups or nags, no adware, no scam, no toolbars......

You just have to create an account and login and forget about it...
