I want to try out the new CFP so I am installing Comodo Firewall 3.0.25.378 and something weird happened. I am installing on Vista Business SP1

It's been more than one hour since the installation got stuck here:

(I had to use thumb drive to transfer the pic)
And now I can't connect to the wireless network so here I am again using my dad's computer to post here. I thought of just ending the process but since its installing the firewall kernel that cause my notebook cannot connect to the wireless network, I am afraid it will cause something bad to the system.

Is it normal for CPF to get like this during installation? The last time I try CPF was still version 2. Any suggestions on what should I do? Thanks.

As far as I know, it's not normal. I'm guessing others would be posting similar experiences if it was common. When you were installing Comodo, you had all other programs closed right? If not I think you should close all of the programs running and see if the install finishes. If it still doesn't, then you don't have much of choice, you'll have to stop it via task manager. After you do that, check to see that it didn't install and try installing again without anything else running.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried closing all program windows and it still doesn't show any progress so I decide to just end the processes. Weird is that I tried to end two CPF process, one of them still appears on task manager even after I repeatedly end the process. Now I am in the process of restarting my notebook. I hope it will turns out well...

I did check the Control Panel and it doesn't show any CPF.

During the shutdown, I got error from two processes, one is explorer.exe and the other I can't catch, I didn't get a chance to read the problem too.

Did you close you antivirus/antimalware/other firewall before installing? That can cause your system to be stuck like that. Whenever you install these type of softwares you should disable your antivirus.

I haven't install any Anti Virus, Anti Spyware or Firewall because yesterday I just did a clean install.

    EDIT:
Wow what the hell happened. I just went to my room to check my notebook again and it is still in the process of shutting down.

    EDIT2:
It haven't finished shutting down yet! Should I just force shutdown it? Please someone assures me that it will fine?

I restarted twice, pick an option to fix Comodo from Comodo System Status. And I think it is running fine now... (I hope!) Thanks jin07 and pascallee. :)
