I ran this program and it detected a few *.dll spywares. Should I remove them? I have never used this software. It detected spywares that neither spybot s&d nor adaware detected. I am a bit skeptical.
Is this a good spyware detection software? Has anyone gotten false positives from the program before? Thanks.

I can't tell you about false positives but I have had good results with it in the past

Spyware Doctor is a good program, though I haven't used it for years!

    I use PestPatrol
Superb program, give it a shot

According to website: "The Free eTrust PestPatrol Anti-Spyware trial removes lower level spyware threats. To remove high level threats, full version activation is required. Learn More"

Spyware doctor shows cookies as spyware. Most of them are not spywares, keyloggers. Windows defender should be just fine.

I'm not a big fan of this program. On my old computer is drastically increased start-up and slowed down my computer under normal usage. Also, make sure it will actually remove threats it finds. I remember one version a while ago which would only tell you you're infected, but wouldn't fix it.

Woot, on this page it says Pestpatrol 1$ ? If that's true, then get it immidiately, it's a good anti-spyware program

Or get the trial, and see if you have any low-high level threats !

I used PC Tools SpyWare Doctor V5 for quite awhile. One of the few that worked right under Vista.

    There are three versions:
    1. Free, with a Google Pack
    2. Free, without the Google Pack
    3. Paid
I used #2. SpyBot Search & Destroy can remove anything found if needed. There's a bit more info in this post; however, the link referenced is no longer there.

Note that free with Google pack is like the full version, ie-it removes all threats, it just lacks full real-time protection. PC Tools' free version is just a trial to show you what it found

I use Spyware Terminator, it is the best ever, and I tried them all. Free, works extremely well, and has incredible support. Finds and removes for FREE! Try it you will love it! I did not install the crawler stuff . Also easy and plentiful updates. http://www.spywareterminator.com/ :notworthy:

Is it supposed to be compatible with 64bit? Did you contact their support? Try the one i suggested pretty slick spyware detector, run it maybe there is spyware yours isn't detecting.
