This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Online Armor v.3 released.

    TallEmu have (finally) released the Vista (32-bit only) version of their much hailed firewall; Online Armor v.3
    It will be available in about 24 hours through Download.com, at the moment only the older version v.2 is available there.

    Online Armor v.3 free doesn't have "all features" like Comodo Firewall Pro.
    This is a free version which lacks features like keylogger detection or DNS spoofing protection.
    v.2 has been tested by matousec and got a "very good" classification and I expect similar results for this version.
    For those who don't like CFP, for whatever reason, this is an excellent replacement. It's less complicated and less talkative.
