As the title says, Online Armor 3 Beta is available for you to try on either XP and now Vista.

Make sure to click on the Online Armor 3 Beta tab to give you the appropriate links.

So far, I'm definitely liking some of the small tweaks they've made to the program. I bet when it comes out of Beta (which should be relatively soon), it will be back on top on Matousec.

    Thx for the heads up.
Pfffew, finally a beta version for Vista (32-bit only, that is).
It has taken TallEmu a while but I'm sure the free version for XP and Vista will be a decent alternative for Comodo Firewall Pro.

I used the new Online Armor (FREE) BETA Version now for 2 full days and absolutely love it. I am running a Pentium 4 Windows XP.. My other computer has Vista and when I try to install it on Vista the (FREE) version states it cannot be ran on Vista. But when I intalled the Pay version of it on Vista it installed no problems. Does anyone else have a problem with installing the free version on VISTA, as I have noted the FREE version on my XP runs flawless and installed with no issues, I wonder if Tallemu will be making the FREE version 3 to work with Vista anytime soon? I like the new layout and extras compared to version 2 "131" Any input on this would be greatly appreciated :)

One of my friends has Vista and is going to try to install OA 3 later. In the meantime, you can always post on their forums. From what I've experienced, they're nice people.

Hi, the pay (full) version will install into Vista just fine, just when I tried to install the FREE beta version it said can't install into Vista at this time... Don't know why.. Let us know if someone gets Free version to work with Vista :)

How would you compare this to Comodo Personal Firewall? I've been looking for a Windows Firewall replacement.

I like it a lot more than Comodo. I went to OA after the whole Comodo V3 debacle and I've never looked back. In terms of security, OA is on par with or better than Comodo. Those two are constantly going back and forth on Matousec's ranking. For awhile OA free was on top. I would place money on OA V3 having a better rating on Matousec when they release V3 out of beta.
