    Hi

I was running scan with Norton internet security for severals minutes, turn off the display and resumed few minutes later and found that an error occured,

    Norton error:
"Norton internet security has encounted an internal program"

    Microsoft Windows error:
"Symantic application core service stopped working and was closed"

Is this a major issue? and any solutions to this error?

    (Asus G1 with Vista 64-bit)

Symantec Support is present on NBR?
Michael, is this a one timer or are you going to be here regularly?
    Cheers, Baserk

Woww... NIS support here on NBR??? Who else are in here?? ;) ;)

Well, thats what I said as well... try reinstalling!!! Anyways... and further, I would recommend removing Norton with the norton removal tool rather than just uninstalling from withing windows....

Wow, a real Norton's person. Maybe he'll defend NIS 2008 from all of these rabid Avira/Avast users present on the forums. ;)

EDIT: Mods, move to AV/Security section?

Anyway, yeah MIKE :) we appreciate your time and help here and lets make it more like you are one of us.. ;) ;) :D :D :D :)
