Is Internet security use a lot more memory/resource then the antivirus one? Does it take away Windows Firewall which makes popups sometimes when you open a program or install one? Is it good, fast reliable?

NIS and Norton AV are essentially the same thing. NIS has Norton AV built into it among other things and features.

NIS is probably better for a notebook because it has wireless securities built-in. I'm not sure if the AV does. Someone check me on that.

NIS is a suite with several features. Norton AV is of course, just AV.

Norton does not slow down computers these days.

Uuuffffffffff.... Man, haven't you seen the other bigger threads on norton discussion here???? this has been repeated over and over again.

Btw, how can an AV program 'make one' computer faster'???

All of Norton's products from 2008 and on, have been absolutely fantastic. I have NIS 2008 and it doesn't slow my computer at all.

I recently did a clean install, and I noticed how fast the boot was while clean... my point is, my boot is still just as fast AFTER installing NIS 2008.

When you click a link like an option in the Norton interface, does it make a squarish looking box around the text?
