Reviews seem to say that memory usage is much improved. How true is this?

I don't really understand what people mean when they call Norton a resource hog. I've always used previous versions, and wondered whether it is slowing my laptop down just because it is enabled, or only when scanning something?

How much of a difference would there be between using Norton, Kaspersky and Avast! for example? Would it improve game performance? Or is the difference really only a small percentage...

My current subscription will end soon and I've seen a nice offer for Norton IS 2008. Does anybody want to give some feedback on it?

Why don't you give the others a try? Avast is free, and I'm pretty sure Kaspersky offers a free trial. FWIW, so does NOD.
