Ok, so I just found out about the student discount. Does nod32 3.0 come with a antispyware as well?

There are two different packages on their webpage:

    1) ESET® Smart Security

    2) ESET NOD32® Antivirus 3.0

Obviously the 1st option comes with the whole package. However, in the description with ESET Smart Security it says..."With a personal firewall, antispam, and the same antivirus and antispyware protection delivered by ESET NOD32® Antivirus"

But when you check the product description ESET NOD32® Antivirus 3.0 it says nothing about antispyware protection.

    I'm a little confused.

Also, I would like to know whether I should keep threatfire if I have nod 32?

Thanks in advance for the help

You can turn off WD safely. About TF I am not using it. TF is just a behaviorial blocker as far as I know. You can continue using TF with Nod 32.

Ye, I figured I would turn off windows defender since there was no need for 2 real time antispyware scanners. My only concern with threatfire is that nod32 has something called threatsense. I don't know if it's the same type of things as TF but it sounds the same so I'm not sure.

I'm thinking now that I should have bought the avira premium. It's cheaper and supposedly is a better AV/Anitspyware program.

ThreatSense is pretty much like TF so you can get rid of TF if you enable ThreatSense which i encourage.
