I don't think anybody saw this yet.

According to the BBC Microsoft is going to offer a free !! Internet Security suite around next year.

    Sounds good.

I think Micrsoft is trying to take a huge bite out of the market by offering copyight software for free.

The Visual Suite - great software (if you know what you are doin -which is why I've got difficulties with them :D) but for free.

    Now antivirus.

    (Also - live mail...)

Keep up the good work MS!

Just wondering - any indication on how good it actually will be? (apart from company claims)

This is good, because I think antivirus is one of the biggest scams <del>in computer software</del> ever. True, they sell you the disinfector, but they're also the ones who created a lot of the viruses.

There won't be any lawsuits from security companies for anti-trust ala PatchGuard again, won't it? :D

From OneCare users, how good is OneCare? Does it really give good security protection?

I hope Morro will be a good product. MS is not very successful with their security products.

    Wrong thread here.
Have you got a fingerprint reader?
Else just password protect your Excel/Word files - MS Office supports that.
