    Just use the product update within Avira. It's just a minor update and not a version change (as from 8 to 9).

    I would say, it is not a good head-up. Because the auto-update already did it for me.
    I hope they would release Avira AntiVir Personal 10!! That would be definitely AWESOME!

    Be careful Cin, there's a poster here on NBR that gets a little testy when other posters use exclamation points to announce new versions of popular software. My guess is that he must have had a traumatic experience in English class when he was a child and is now on a crusade against exclamation points. LOL!

    The Master Boot Sector scan bug has not being fixed with this update... Come on Avira, it is a known bug!

    I have auto update for definitions but not sure about a product update. Found it under the menu.
