    i dont think it is the free version. if it is thats good. ii just wish the free had real time scanning.

    edit. never mind i didnt read the link. but i still dont see real time scanning.

    Who cares about features? Last I used Ad-Aware (version 2007 with definitions fully updated - about four months ago) the definitions were SERIOUSLY lacking. Totally missed really big stuff that Spybot, SUPER, and MBAM all picked up.

    If I were you, I would use that money to buy MBAM Pro or SAS Pro instead. :D

    I wonder how effective the Ad-Watch Live! Basic is. If they improved their definitions drastically since I last used Ad-Aware, I might give this a try so I can use the free real-time scanning.

    According to PCMag, Ad-aware pro 08 had poor live protection but excellent on-demand scanning as opposed to what they said about SAS. Take from that what you will.

    I've used AdWare on my desktop...It just didn't work for me. I found other app's that work better ;)
