I need to install my new Zune 3.0 software with Windows Firewall running. The problem is that Windows firewall won't run...even when i choose to run manually. Can you help me? Thanks!

First off, this should go in the Security and Anti-virus forum.

Onto the actual problem. Do you have another firewall installed? Has Windows Firewall always acted like this?

Might want to switch to a better firewall like Comodo.

Open Security Center-Start---Control Panel---Switch to Classic View---Security Center. What's listed under the "firewall" heading?

EDIT: I just checked McAfee's site. Apparently they include a firewall with every product, even when you have just antivirus. (That's why Windows Firewall's disabled) You need to make sure that an exception is made in the McAfee software. To create an exception in McAfee VirusScan follow the instructions in the following link: http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=307339&lc=1033&partner=10005&type=TS

You'll want to add "zune.exe" to the list it's found under C:\program files\zune
