this article, sorry to say, is 15 paragraphs of useless empty words. i thought it was at least going to tell me HOW so many of my friends have had their facebook hacked. i'm not an EXPERT an i was curious how the hacking took place?

    this article is so stupid...
i'm sure all people, no matter how low their computer intellegence, understands what a facebook virus is once they've been burned once or twice, or got the same message from 3 different people, or got an msg followed by another msg from someone saying it was a virus, and a later apology from the op to everyone not to click on it.

just dont click on any msg that's VAGUE and has a link, that's all. if you need an article this late in the game to help you recognize a virus, you haven't used facebook or twitter very long.

I think it takes an understanding of how computers work to understand that clicking a link will hijack your account.

People have low computer intelligence because you don't need a high level of computer expertise to use it anymore. Just like folks with a low automobile IQ have little idea how to perform basic maintenance. It's just the consequences of a broad userbase.

    ^Agreed.
But regarding a much more important topic; Who's the triple 'skirt-long legs-boots-lady'? (mmm, this dress code is virtually mandatory in my dreams...)

As Surfasb has hinted - you are assuming comter literacy - something too many pepeple don't have - or don't have the time to aquire - or don't know its needed.
Also, this forum get's outside visitors too - the may find this more useful than most registered users.

    Also:
If you know so much about it, do write an article for NBR :) I'm sure it would be appreciated.
