Leave it on, and keep an eye on system performance, if it slows down, un-check the on-access scan option.

    cheers ...

McAfee Virus Scan is the most resource hog in the world! And not the most secure as well! Uninstall that useless POS please and use some real Antivirus like NOD32 or Avira AntiVir

    What you mean by POS?
I don't sense any lag on my system performance while using it.
My friend's uncle work at IBM company and I heard they use McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i.
Avira Antivir 9(free) and McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i which 1 is better?

Avira is much better, dude you didn't seem to have a problem since you don't know your computer's performance without McAfee, here's whaty ou can easily do, uninstall McAfee, install Avira AntiVir (which is the best FREE antivirus available) then see if you notice any difference in system performance, file accessing, gaming, windows boot time, etc. then see, if you notice a difference, keep Avira AntiVir, if you see no difference, uninstall Avira and reinstall McAfee, fair enough?

you will feel you bought a new computer after you uninstall McAfee Virus Scan guaranteed by meh

LoL. I know McAfee uses much resources compared to Avira Antivir 9 Free.
I just want to know this McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i is strong or weak.
I already have 3 of my computers in Avira Antivir 9 since a few weeks ago.
