    Oh, snap. Good thing I don't play online games! :p

    Maybe I should reinstall CFP....although Vista's firewall seems better than XP's. :confused:

    I hope AVG sniffs out anything funny....

    If you just want to get rid of ads, use Adblock Plus.

    Actually, it's not good to have both installed. It may slow down your internet browsing speed. If you have Noscript, you don't need Adblock Plus.

    Actually, I just uninstalled NS, because it was cramping my productivity, and I did notice that AB was pointless with it installed...

    Why do people do this kind of thing? It is extremely annoying.

    I have had both installed for 2 years now, and they had never slowed me down. :)

    They does the same job, but sometimes a website needs javascript, and I still want to block stuff off. Such as flashing navigation bar, disturbing avatars/pictures in forums, and videos.

    Using adblock Plus to just block ads is a hassle, just disable the script and everything works fine. Even NBR is much cleaner now. (Feel bad for doing it to NBR because it's probably how it makes its hosting fee, through ads).

    @pixelot
    You can have NS remember the allocating setting but using the little "(S)" icon on the bottom right of the FF screen.
