    Malwarebytes (MBAM) Udate Error on Critical System files.

    Not the first time an update got false pos. There was another a few months ago that did give a few false positives as well. This one seems more severe though.

    Yea this screw-up made me spent a couple hours of my time yesterday fixing my computer. The program identified 8500 viruses rofl.

    Thanks for the Thread.

    I turned my laptop on and viola it says that need to Fix something, so, I let it do it's thing ... and boy the screwey thing restored itself back to 2 days ago ... so, everything that I had installed last 2 days went capot ...

    So, I thought it might have been the 2 software that I installed ...

    But once I tried to Manually update my MBAM ... I saw it said Corrupt database ... and then installed the correct database.

    I would expect this kind of Screw Up from a lesser Trusted AV, but Not MBAM.
