The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. Several minutes??

This is on a new Elitebook 8740w. There is drive encryption software running but my drive is NOT encrypted.

Will it ever complete? Is this just a graphical error? IDK what to think

It usually speeds up in bar progress at the end.

I'm assuming you're running the scan on multiple drives? Judging by the fact that it's on windows/winsxs, it should be around the end of the C: drive.
