Hi - I've been using Kerio 2.x with XP for quite a long time. But, this doesn't seem to work with Vista. I like Kerio since it's simple to organize the rules in descending order, and lets me customize the rules down to the exectutable (with MD5 hash), the type of data (UDP, TCP, ICMP, IGMP), the local/remote ports, and the local/remote IPs. I've been using NOD32 antivirus for a while, not sure if it's the most effective, but seems to be doing fine. I notice that ESET also has their Smart Security that include the firewall. How do people like this here, or should I go individual antivirus and firewall?

    Thanks,
    - Eli

Thanks. I haven't heard of Online Armor, I'll take a look at it.

What is the purpose of Defense+ and Threatfire? I read brief descriptions of the two programs, and it seems they monitor software behavior that could potentially be malicious, even though antivirus software may not pick it up? I usually set my firewall so that any program that tries to make a connection will produce a response, which I will then make a rule from. Does the free version of Online Armor let me do this?
