I occasionally get a BSOD, and afterwards when vista checks for the problem, it has no fix but says my antivirus software was the problem.

The errors from the BSOD are usually:

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    OR
    INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Anyone know how I can fix this, or what the problem is?

    Thanks

See if there is a Minidump folder in the Windows Directory.

There should be minidumps (.dmp) in that folder, zip and upload them....

When did this start happening? Are you certain it is related to Kapersky? This is usually a hardware and/or driver problem.

Yeah I have Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 and I don't experience this problem it all. It is likely a driver/hardware problem.

    Here is the minidump files.

I am not certain it is Kaspersky, but as I said Vista says its my anti-virus software. My laptop is fairly new about a month I've been using it and over that time I've gotten the occasional BSODs.

Some of the times that I remember getting a BSOD is:
-trying to print to a networked printer over wireless conection
-just surfing the web (at least 2 or 3 BSODS)
-trying to connect to wireless internet
-then some other random times where I wasn't doing anything special

...I really hope its not a hardware problem :( if its a driver problem what driver would it be?

Most of the dumps indicate towards the "Kaspersky Unified Driver".

There are a couple of dumps, relating to driver issues with your "Intel AGN" driver, and the "USB2.0 PC Camera" driver.

Try reinstalling both these drivers first (preferably different versions, new or old).

If you still get BSODs related to KIS, reinstall it, and check if there is an application update available for it.

^^ Related to the AGN Wifi driver, so I think it is the root cause. Also try disabling the KIS firewall....

Also if possible, hard-wire your notebook to the router, and see if you get BSODs, when on LAN.

Thanks a lot that really helps! However, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to drivers...so how would I go about reinstalling those 2 drivers? And where would I find a different version?

I assume I'd head to the device manager, hit up properties for the device, then go to the drivers tab, but I'm not sure what to do from there.

I'm also getting this problem and it usually happens when I launch a program (or 2) during start-up while KIS is updating.

Well, first check out Add/Remove Programs, and see if there is an uninstall option for the two drivers. If there is, uninstall, restart, then search for NETw5v64.sys and snp2uvc.sys. If any instances of these are found, delete them, and reinstall the new (different version) drivers....

If there is no uninstall option in Add/Remove Progs....Uninstall through Device Manager, and do the same, search for the .sys files, if you find 'em - delete 'em, and then reinstall the different driver versions....

If reinstalling drivers doesn't work, getting rid of KIS, or reinstalling (an updated ?) version of it may be the only solution.

After uninstalling KIS, search for kl1.sys, and delete it, if found.
