If this question is in the wrong section, I apologise.

I keep getting popups relating to Java, informing me I have to update Java.( (I have the latest version installed ). and the latest episode, was this morning I wanted to upload a folder to Box.net. When I clicked on 'Upload Folder', I got a message.... 'This plugin has security vulnerabilities". Activate Java Deployment Toolkit' Am I correct in not responding to this message. If so, could anyone shed any light on what the problem could be?

    Regards......nello

Good move not responding, try booting into safe mode and run malware and/or anti-virus scan. If nothing is found try removing java and installing the current version.

JOSEA, apologies for the delay in answering.
I followed the advice from both of you and as you can see in the attachments, my problem isn't solved..
The first is the box I get when I attempt to load a small folder to Box.com
    Second is my Control Panel.
    Third is my Firewall settings.
Your thoughts would be most welcome.
    Regards......nello

I keep having constant popups too saying I need to update Java, and I know I have the latest version installed, and I know the popups aren't legit. This only ever happens on these notebookreview forums, I think they might have been compromised in some way. Today I've had 5 popups already, but it doesn't happen everyday - today has been the worse. I've done virus scans using various programs, and nothing found - think the website has been compromised. Anyone else having this problem with this website?

Personally I do not have Java installed, I would remove it if you have no need for it. Are you using vB4 default style? I would try switching to it if you absolutely need Java.
