    Just wondering if anyone has built a opinion about Iolo System Mechanic Software
    my brother just bought it he put it on his computer i am using avast free and have been happy with it for the past few years

    but wondering if iolo is any good or if some of you think its not good

    anyone use it ?

    If anything, it lagged my computer when I tried it years ago. Not sure about the current version but I'd stay far away from it.

    If I was in your position... I wouldn't bother with it.
    First off, I'd get Ccleaner Free and use that for system maintenance.
    And as for a decent protection... a free antivirus will suffice such as:
    Avira, Avast, MSE or Panda (only pick 1).
