I've always had Kaspersky in my notebook but today because there seemed to be some viruses that it was missing I installed Avast. But now I can't even turn on the notebook and these warnings start to appear saying that Kaspersky is trying to block an .ini of Avast!
It's blocking the comp completely! I can't even move the cursor enough to shut down any of the antivirus before another warning pops up!

Please guys, help! I sure someone out there knows how to fix this problem!

Honestly, you made a big mistake installing a new antivirus with an old one still on the system. I made this very mistake years ago, so don't feel too bad. At some point, you should be able to log in. It may take you restarting your computer over and over, but you can eventually get into it. Once that happens, if that happens, you'll have to uninstall one of the programs, if possible.

This is only my best guess, especially since this is what I did when I made the same error. If it doesn't solve the problem or you just can't get into your system after many more attempts, you'll obviously have to go a different route. There are people more knowledgeable than me who can probably talk you through BIOS or a plethora of other possible solutions, so I'll leave it to them. I wish you the best, Brunaghot.

Try booting in safe mode and uninstalling both from there. Then you can reinstall ONE from your regular account. Seen this problem before when someone decided to install Norton and Mcafee together. This is how I fixed it.

Thank you so much! I was afraid safe mode would be the same as the normal one but it worked like a charm and I uninstalled Avast. I'll just settle for Kaspersky now! Thanks again!

Hearing someone say that Kaspersky missed something is amazing to me. It's consistently rated among the very best. I've been running it for a while now, and I feel as safe as a person can feel. It's truly one of the very best on the market right now.

OP, I'm glad you got your issue worked out.
