    Wow, that's some news.

How incredibly stupid (besides criminal of course) to steal technology and data so bluntly.
When I read on WildersSecurity from an Iobit forum mod, that they were having some issues with their real-time detection level, I never thought about them implementing stolen technology...
Another company name on my "Not to be trusted" list.

    Thanks for posting.

Wow, thanks for the news. Hopefully download.com pulls IOBit from their site.

"Malwarebytes has recently uncovered evidence that a company called IOBit based in China is stealing and incorporating our proprietary database and intellectual property into their software."

Gee a Chinese company stealing intellectual property. Why am I not surprised?

Just while someone said China and copying...
    (sae happens with fountainpens)

The problem here is part of a cultural divide too.
Replicating an original product is honouring is quality... thus even though by all accounts it is theft, it wouldn't be generally considered so locally.

    Still... this is bad :(
    Good thing I don't use it :)

(On the same note - based on the threat of copying Russia actually cancelled a contract for some Sukhoisfor China...)
