Here is the link to the fake Skype website. I searched "skype download" in google and clicked on one of the google ad links. It looked legit and i was in a hurry so i didn't give it a second thought before downloading. First link is what Google brought up, and the second link shows up in the address when you're on the website. Is it bad?

When i installed the package it put anyprotect, search protect, online back and one more software on the computer. I managed to remove them all using malwarebytes ad hitman
pro and then I ran a full system scan with McAfee. I feel like there is still something on my computer that neither malwarbytes nor mc affee can detect. Right now I am using malwarebytes anti root kit scan and it says that everything is clean. Next, I am trying TDSSKiller. I have windows 8.1 btw. Should I do a system reset?

I am really worried because this is a very new machine, and because of my carelessness, I may have destroyed it.

EDIT---- Most of this crap that was installed went in the temp folder. In another temp folder I found a txt file, this a portion of it. It says MSI, not sure if it is MSI itself because I have afterburner installed. The reason i am suspicious s because the time of the txt file is close to the time of malware installation.

Only way to be 100% sure is to format the drive and reinstall your operating system from scratch.

I left the links there, but I put spaces to break them in order to avoid anyone accidentally clicking on them. Anyways, a reinstall would be the most extreme but safest approach. Personally, it's what I would do.
