This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Avast is hosting a quiz with which you can win a one year license for their completely revamped Avast Internet Security suite.

    Throughout December you can try winning a license, by answering one simple question.
    The questions are renewed at 12:00 midnight GMT, so you can try daily.
    100 licenses are given away daily to every 20th correct answer; Quiz details link.

    The Avast Internet Security suite offers antivirus and antispyware protection, a firewall and spam protection, gaming mode and lot's more, including the option to sandbox programs.

    If this is anything like most of the other "Midnight refresh sites" I bet all are given away by 12:05.
