I can download Microsoft's Forefront Client Security for free through my university. I haven't found many reviews or comparisons, so I was wondering if anyone here has experience with it. How does it compare to, say, AVG free or Avast?
    Thanks.

Afaik it's Windows OneCare for businesses/large organizations.
Like Symantec Corporate edition, you can have updates through the network or stand-alone.
As I've never used it, I can only give you some links from AV-Comparatives with extensive security suite on-demand test results and their 'retrospective' followup test results.
It's for most current security suites, among which OneCare.
On-demand pdf (feb 2009), Retrospective pdf (may 2009).
    Cheers.
