    Do you know what is the best solution for anti-virus and firewall under Windows XP pro 64 bits ?

    Even better if freeware :cool:

    For free software firewalls, Comodo and Outpost will run on XP 64 bit (with Outpost being the easy one and Comodo, combined with it's HIPS Defense+, being the most configurable (and demanding).

    You might also want to consider updating that antiquated OS as well. Now that Vista (aka Windows 7) has now been fixed, there's no longer any good reason not to. After all, you wouldn't want to be missing out on the full use of all the new app/appl--including security and performance--would you?

    Avast Home AV which is free and Comodo Firewall works VERY good.
