I decided to go with NOD32 over Norton Antivirus 2009 and boy am I happy. It is incredibly fast, and detected a trojan CA did not!!

I have a question though, I installed the "trial" then lator on bought it an activated it, is this like downloading the "full version" from the website or is downloading the "full version" from the website better? It seems like the same thing right?

Also, how do I know if auto updates is set?

To set auto updates go to setup > advanced setup > update > advanced update setup

Does NOD32 do a very good job at removing viruses and malware like Norton and Kasperky?

Well, from my experience, any viruses that Nod has found on my comp have been removed without any issues. All that comes up is a big, scary red screen that says 'Virus Detected', blah blah, then it's gone.
Mind you, I might just be lucky that they've all been so clean. -knocks on wood-
