Because of their 8 year anniversary, Austrian security software company Emsisoft is offering their programs Online Armor Premium Firewall or EAM/Emsisoft AntiMalware for only €8/$8 (1 year license).
OA Premium offers an excellent and easy HIPS, banking mode, anti DNS spoofing, a ' run safer' option for those running on an admin account and more.
EAM offers high detection and protection against viruses/malware through 2 different AV/AM engines, a behavioural blocker, file and registry protection and optional 'surf protection'.

I run both programs on one of my computers and I can wholeheartedly recommend them both.
That is, if you don't mind paying for security software of course.
EAM is normally a tad pricey at €40 but can now be bought with an 80% discount.
If you buy/combine these 2 programs, you'll have one of the strongest security suites available for only €16/$16.
Included in the offer for both programs, is a 1 year license for Ad Muncher Premium.
