This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    You can get disable the notifier window in Avira free using the methods below

    1. http://www.elitekiller.com/files/disable_antivir_nag.htm

    2. This works for me. Create a new update job with a frequency set to "daily at a particular time". You can also edit the existing update to this mode. Avira doesn't open the notifier pop up window anymore.

    I will go by method 2 since it doesn't disable anything. See if this works for you.
