Do I have to disable/uninstall windows firewall before I install a new one? I was trying to install Comodo, but it said to disable or uninstall third party firewall software or something before I install it?

Comodo, like other firewalls, should disable WF when you install Comodo.

I've unintentionally had Windows Firewall running the same time as CFP and didn't notice a difference. However, I don't think it increases the protection, nor do I think it reduces it.

Keep us posted. It can get a little intense at first, so be sure to read the CFP help file. After a few days and once you open all your programs it should settle down.
