Comodo is warning me that it might be malicious. I have been asked to run it twice today and a couple of times the past two weeks.

I did a google search and didn't find an answer.

    What is it?

If you know where it's located (or if Comodo gives you the exact location of the file), you can upload it to VirusTotal.com an have it scanned with 30+ AV/AM programs.
Are you perhaps running some Akamai Download tool?

I guess I was not clear.

I don't care if I run the program. I just want to know if it is safe.

Since it's not clear 'what' program it is, I think the first step is to find out 'what' program 'it' is...

And that Akamai blah blah suggestion was to see if the program was that.. you could try uninstalling akamai download tool, for example, and see if you still get the notification or whatever.. in that case, you'd know what it is.. and if it is akamai download tool through adobe, for sure it is safe, but I'm not sure if you'd want it to be running...

    Cheers
