    Good Afternoon,

I am comparing four different antivirus products and was just looking for some input on any or all of them. We have approximately 150 servers, about 60% of which are running Linux (CentOS) and the rest are running Windows Server 2012 and Server 2008 R2.

    1) Eset File Security
    2) Kaspersky Endpoint Security
    3) Trend Micro Server Protect
    4) Symantec Endpoint Protection (Enterprise)

This list was narrowed down after doing some research online and reading about other people's experiences. I'm leaning towards Kaspersky. I like what I've read about Eset but I don't like the management interface. I've read a good bit of negative things about Trend and Symantec but I've also read a lot of positives.

On the Fly, You may want to look at ClamAV, later, its free .

"ClamAV is an open source (GPL) anti-virus engine used in a variety of situations including email scanning, web scanning, and end point security. It provides a number of utilities including a flexible and scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command line scanner and an advanced tool for automatic database updates."

If those are paid then none of those are any better then a free A/V program. I for one would consider MSE and those for all their research is no good if the user clicks or load a virus loaded program or clicks on malware sites. Paying for yearly subscription hasn't so far proven those are any better then the free A/V programs out there.
