but if old stuff can still leak through, how is that any more reassuring?

Duke, did you have Comodo's Defense+ active when trying PCFlank's test?
I can't imagine that you did not get a Defense+ warning when trying this test, if Defense+ was "on".
    Cheers.

CFP with D+ in safe mode passed the test here (I manually blocked 3 attempts before the test came up) . If in training mode it's not likely to pass.

odd... still passing thru even with it on safe mode. ONE popup comes up saying that the program is attempting to open internet browser...but thats AFTER the fact that it said my firewall is leaky and data was sent :(

Try opening D+(advanced) computer security policies settings and removing PC Flank test which was most likely was previously set. Also look in Firewall (advanced) network security settings and remove anything PCFlank and try the test again denying any pop ups.

Edit: I just tried the test again and passed. You may have to wait a few seconds after blocking for the test to appear. Also, it says to open IE manually rather than clicking their button. I tried both ways and passed.

comodo is better than kaspersky in my opinion. i used kaspy for 2 years and i love comodos details and stuff... so much options and ease of use...
