Cool. Thanks for the heads up. I hope Defense+ is better this time. I still had some problems with Defense+, even in the last version, which got me to supplement Comodo with Threatfire. I wonder why this doesn't show up in the update check through Comodo's firewall.

D+ is always tricky. It takes some time to get used to.
I read somewhr in the forums that the update will be able within comodo firewall's built-in update checker in a week or so.

    no problem. :)

Yeah, I know it takes some time. I gave it a solid 2 weeks, but it was still bugging me. So far so good with the new version. I haven't had one pop-up. Saying that, I will now get pop-ups.

Ah. That explains why it wasn't in the built-in update checker. Oh well, downloaded and installed the new one.

Once you've opened and used all your programs, unless you're updating or installing a new program, it's pretty quiet on safe mode. The worst is forgetting to switch to installation mode when installing or updating.

Wait I just remembered why I stopped using it. It wasn't the warnings, but the Defense+ pending files thing. After awhile, my pending files would grow and they would eventually slowdown my computer. When I would try to clear the pending files, they would double in size and further slowdown my computer.

If your your software is trusted, just switch to safe mode. No more pending files. :D

If you stay on top of them, purge, look up, submit, remove.

Hmm... v3.8.64739.471 doesn't seem to work with W7. Can't get network firewall to run. It works fine on XP Pro x64. Anyone else successfully install v3.8.64739.471 on W7?

From what I understand it's getting there. With the AV, D+, Firefox and NoScript, I wouldn't think you'd have a problem.
