I noticed that he was using the premium version which means you would have to shed out some money. I will stick with the free version for now. Overall, I was impressed and am curious as to how the anti-virus alone compares to MSE, avast, and avira. However, at the end when he showed the Malwarebyte's results I started doubting that the anti-virus alone stood a chance against anti-viruses like Avast.

I don't think the antivirus is too impressive. I haven't seen it rated against others though.

Only one infection made it through in that test and it was "crippled." I personally would not use their antivirus, I'd prefer to replace it with Mamutu.

I see no reason to switch unless the Firewall and Defense+ are going to be massively updated to have a better detection rate or the sandbox is improved.

It's not a switch. It's just an update. CIS uses the same exact Firewall and Defense+ as the regular free version.

You'll see improvements to Defense+ and sandboxing.

So this will all be free? Than why was he using the Premium version?

I just assume it's because he has a premium license.

Hardly, he installed the virus and OK'ed everything. Anyone with a little common sense isn't going to do that.

As a suite CIS can't be beat.

ESET is pay software, so no. I don't use anything that tries to get me to pay for security.
