    Best free security for netbook - Need advice

    I am planning to bay Asus eeePC 1005HA.On my notebook i use Avira antivirus,Comodo firewall and Superantispyware for protection.Can i use same software on netbook?

    I don't think you'll have any problem running Avira and SAS on your netbook. Heck, put MBAM on it too! If it was me I would leave off the Comodo firewall though.

    Not likely. Remember to install without any other security programs running. Read the help files. Set the FW and D+ to train and open all your trusted programs one by one for it to auto set permissions. Then set to safe mode. Once you do that you should receive very few pop up notices.

    I found Outpost to be lighter than Comodo. However, it's protection isn't as robust, though still very good.

    The latest version is somewhat buggy and bloated. Besides, I really don't think you need a firewall on a netbook.

    I use Avira AV9, SAS, on my Mini 9 Netbook! It all works just great! :)

    Nice and light...thats all I need.

    I would never do anything on a netbook at a Starbucks that would concern me if the connection wasn't secure; that's what I have my secure laptop for.
