I've installed Avira PE with Vista U/32 and each time I try it, it appears Avira version 9.0.0.387 is extracting and installing just fine. Out of nowhere I get 3 messages that the installation has failed while it's continuing to install. Once the installation is complete i'm able to update and scan with Avira PE. Has anyone else run into this issue? I even ran it with administrator privileges.

I installed Avira PE on my Windows XP system with no error messages during the install.

Have you removed all remnants of previous AV's and/or do you have a program to lock your registry?
I'm not sure why you have this issue but have you seen/followed the recommended Avira uninstall/reinstall steps here?
Hopefully that works, otherwise I'd say, post about it on the Avira forum.
Folks over there probably have a much better idea on what might be the problem.
    Cheers.

It was on a fresh Vista install which is what had me confused when the error message popped up. It appears that Avira is functioning which leads me to believe it's a bogus installation error message.

If it seems to be working (opens, scans, updates) I wouldn't worry about it.
