    Avast False Positive?

    I mean the avast scanner used by virus total says the file is ok, not the one on my notebook.

    @Tinderbox (UK) I have downloaded the file (tvcpro371.exe) on a computer I use Avast Premier and it wasn't flagged.
    My money is on "reputation services" being enabled in your Avast settings. If a file has bad rep it will get flagged even if it's not detected by virus definitions.

    AV companies call this "wisdom of the crowd" which must be a definition of an oxymoron. ;)

    I turned off "reputation services" and the file tvcpro371.exe is no longer detected as an virus and program installs fine, so it looks like you are right :)
