    Hi,

Just thought I would post to ask if anyone else had had problems with the windows shutdown hanging due to pc tools spyware doctor?

I have had a Lenovo T500 for a little while now and had been having an intermittent problem with it hanging at the shutdown screen. Seeing as I used hibernate for the most part I didn't bother doing anything about it.

However lately it was annoying me so I tried so suss it out and eventually found that by disabling spyware doctor the problem appears to have ceased. I have used spyware doctor on other machines for a while with no problems so I find this odd.

It is probably an isolated incident and for the moment I am trying microsofts solution although I am wondering if a fresh install of windows may solve the problem, not too sure though.
