Ok I just want to make sure that I have all the Anti Virus and every thing that I need to keep from getting any thing on my new Laptop. The internet where i'm currently at is awfull about viruses. So here is what i downloaded.

Avira AntiVir, Comodo Firewall Pro, A-squared.

I got all of these from the best free Antivirus link so I'm sure i'm covered but i want to double check before deleting the mcafee that came installed.

Just make sure to read all the help files from Comodo so that you won't be surprised by any popup.
Also, take a look at SandboxIE. Might come in handy.
If possible, take a look also at imaging software like Acronis True Image.
That way you can reinstall an image of a clean configuration in 15 minutes if you still might get infected.
    Cheers.

The combination of what you are currently using & what Baserk recommended is similar to what I use. I'd say you're pretty safe :). But definately take Baserk's advice on the imaging software. Whenever I feel the inkling that I even might have something nasty on my computer I just revert to the image and worry gone!

Make sure you don't get too clicky in denying access with Comodo ;). My first time using it I accidently denied every instance of svchost.exe and my system became unstable. Haha.

Still, be responsible when browsing the net. No software will completely protect you, responsibility is still the key factor.

    Hi,

    this is my configuration:

    Win XP Pro SP3
    Router with NAT
WinXP Default Firewall, Avira AntiVir PE Premium,
    DEP, ThreatFire, ShadowDefender, SandboxIE,
MBAM (on demand), SAS (on demand)
    Opera Browser with HOSTS File

add to yours SandboxIE or ShadowDefender or Returnil + ThreatFire as addition to your AV and will be good ;)
