Couple of simple questions for everyone:

Is it a good idea to have both adaware (free anniversary edition) and spybot 1.6.2 simltaneously on your computer?

Are there any other free anti malware/spyware programs that are better out there?

    Thanks!

I used to have both programs installed at the same time. I did not run into any issues.

    AdAware kind of sucks now.
I suggest using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, SUPERAntiSpyware, and Spybot S&D.

Another good one is SpywareBlaster - blocks known bad sites right from the start. Call it an extra layer of insurance (freeware too).

We are using that and only that on our comps. No extra AdAware apps needed.

    cheers ...
