The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Thanks for the test results, this is the reason I switched all PCs and laptops at home to MS Antimalware. The detection rate is as good as something like Kaspersky Antivirus, it is FREE and you don't really need to worry about it searching some document on your PC and sending it to foreign country ;-)

    As for "false positives" - the only time I experienced that is on my ETH mining PC which ran Windows 10 - it was trying to remove the miner program which was a logical decision since some malware used to put miners on people's PCs. All I had to do is to permanently exclude that executable and MS Antimalware never bothered me again.
