This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I wish that chart had an option that would allow me to see it averaged out in a period of time, so I could see which one did best in between say November 2015 and March 2016 or something like that.
    With monthly data it's a bit jumpy - too narrow scope to make a decision based on it.

    Avira still on the top, Kaspersky for the first time in almost 2 years drops from the top positions to the middle of the chart.

    Avast also doing very bad compared to the past. Probably because Avast is focusing on adding more bloat to their AV/Suites.

    Threat Attack Vipe big improvement, down from the bottom toe the middle top

    F-Secure, excellent protection as always

    Eset doing well as usual, nothing great but nothing worth being worried about

    This is just my observation
