Yeah looking at it, I'm keeping Avast. Kaspersky is the only one that has consistently won advanced+ rewards while avast has been between advanced and advanced+ consistently other than one slip in 2012.

To me, the number one factor when choosing an AV is the performance impact which Avast, Avira, Kaspersky, and recently even NOD32 are good atl. Then comes protection.

Reason being, I don't even need an AV, I just have it to feel safer, I know what I am doing and what I visit so if a particular AV like Avast! or any other slips a bit by a small percentage, I am not worried as I have faith what was missed will be corrected soon via program / definition updates.

Avast has only had one performance dip which makes it the most consistent performer as well.
