This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Why do they not test what I have found works better than anything on their list and I have used several of them and the product I am talking about here found malware that the others did not?

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

    It works so great that I actually decided to stop using the free version and now pay for it.

    Good point, my guess would be is it's a full fledged Malware scanning AND active protection program rather than a removal tool which only services on purpose, to manually remove nasty stuff in a single run and that's it, as in no program or installer like Malwarebytes
